So I know it’s a little late for making Christmas decs but I just wanted to share with you these super impromptu placecards that my daughter Jodie and I made on Christmas eve. Totally unplanned and made from bits and bobs we found in the craftbox – but they came out super cute and everyone loved them!
Here are some close ups:
The names are simply printed using Coventry Garden, my favourite free font right now.
I pick up a lot of the embellishments from Ebay – you can get loads of things for 50p or £1 if you’re happy to wait 2 or 3 weeks for them to arrive.
The backings are wooden blanks and they are £5.99/10 or cheaper if you buy more (e.g. £8.99/50) – here they are:
You can buy them here.
All bits are stuck down with a more than generous amount of Matte Mod Podge, the best glue for anything like this.
I hope you love these sweet little placecards as much as we did – they were a lovely personal touch for Christmas day!
